So as we near the end of a glorious Summer and Autumn sheepishly approaches, I find my thoughts turning towards my old passion, CROCHET.
By the end of each Winter every member of the family (as well as the teapot) has a new crocheted item.
Beanies were big last year…
And then, just for fun, I tried my hand at Amigurumi which is the Japanese art of creating little characters in crochet – very challenging but greatly rewarding when you get it right!
I made, what I like to call, Tooth Collectors.
A little character who has a back-pack or handbag that your child can put their tooth into while waiting for the Tooth Fairy to come collecting.
